Methodist Opens New North Side Outpatient Center
(April 22, 2010)--The public joined with local dignitaries to officially open the area’s newest outpatient health center. Methodist North at Allen Road opened its doors for the first time March 29th but observed a public open house and ribbon cutting Thursday, April 22, 2010.
Methodist North at Allen Road is now home to Methodist at Allen Road-Pediatrics and Methodist at Allen Road-Family Medicine as well as Methodist Medical Group Cardiology and Methodist Comprehensive Foot and Ankle Center.
In addition to physician offices, Methodist North at Allen Road features an advanced Imaging Center that offers the latest 3T MRI, a low-dose-radiation CT scanner, comfortable all-digital mammography, plus ultrasound, x-ray, echo and vascular lab, and bone density scanning.
Also included at Methodist North is the full-service Methodist Pharmacy for easy access to prescriptions and over-the-counter pharmacy items, plus physical and occupational therapy from Professional Therapy Services.
In marking the event, Methodist President and CEO Michael Bryant said, “Methodist North at Allen Road is not just another medical office building. It’s a state-of-the-art healthcare facility that embodies the Methodist vision of ‘Taking You Well Into the Future.’ Methodist North at Allen Road is ideally situated off Route 6, for easy access throughout the Peoria area, and especially for residents on the fast growing North and Westside communities.”
There is also a comprehensive conference center that is available for use by area organizations. The conference center features three meeting rooms complete with state-of-the-art visual and audio equipment.
The project developer is DASCO Companies with the Farnsworth Group as architect/engineer and PJ Hoerr as contractor.
