McDaniels Marketing Communications Receives Two National Awards at “Best of NAMA” Ceremony

McDaniels Marketing Communications recently received a first place “Best of NAMA” award for the digital presentation, Illinois Soybean Association’s “Think’n with Lincoln,” as well as a second place award for Heritage Seed’s “Secret Six/Lead Hybrid,” a local multi-media campaign. Presented by the National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA), the ceremony in Kansas City, KS honored the nation’s “best of the best” in agricultural communications. To participate, entrants first achieved top awards at the regional level.

Think’n with Lincoln
This interactive game was created for the Illinois Soybean Association (ISA), a statewide organization for soybean growers located in Bloomington, IL. “Think’n with Lincoln” was unveiled as part of ISA’s new exhibit last September and supported ISA’s key message – “Illinois Soybean Growers: A Legacy of Leadership.” The game shows how Illinois soybean growers lead in agricultural production, research and education, while tying in with Abraham Lincoln’s 200th birthday celebration and making a connection between Lincoln as a leader and soybean growers as leaders. Designed to entice visitors to answer trivia questions, the presentation features a custom video game experience and is now available on the ISA website in a fun, educational format using multiple-choice and true-false answers.

4610 Secret Six/Lead Hybrid Campaign
This multi-media campaign was created for Heritage Seeds, a division of American Seeds LLC located in Reynolds, IN. Targeting growers throughout Illinois, Indiana and Michigan, the campaign was designed to capture the attention of those in the market for high-performing, genetically proven corn products bred to perform in specific fields. “4610 Secret Six/Lead Hybrid” was also intended to draw potential new customers to Heritage Seeds’ tent at the 2009 Farm Progress Show. By positioning Heritage Seeds as both “The Leader in Product Placement” and the right choice for making “yield driven” decisions, the campaign helped set the company’s new technology and products apart from the competition.

McDaniels Marketing Communications draws on over 43 years of experience to help strategically plan and execute marketing tactics for clients throughout the Midwest. McDaniels also has client service offices in Rockford, IL and the Quad Cities. ie-media, the company’s interactive division, specializes in developing websites, content management systems, interactive animated programming, SEO, SEM, social media strategies and more.
