Methodist offers Free Women’s Health Awareness Programs
(April 21, 2010)--Methodist Medical Center will be offering three free Women’s Health Awareness Programs for the general public. Programs will include information on women’s health issues as well as the latest information on robotic hysterectomies using the DaVinci Robotic System.
Programs will include a presentation on Pre and Post Menopause with Dr. Tracy Bochantin on Tuesday, April 27 at 6 p.m. That presentation will be held at Curves at 3709 N. Sterling in Peoria. Adolescent Obesity will be the topic for a presentation by Dr. David Kindred on Tuesday, May 4th at 8 a.m. That presentation will also be held at Curves at 3709 Sterling. The final presentation will be held on Wednesday, May 5th at 12:30 p.m. Dr. Marc Boyd will be discussing urinary incontinence at Methodist on North Allen Road.
Refreshments will be served at all three presentations and attendees will receive a free one-month membership to Curves.
