Josh Bradshaw Speaks to Puttin' On Pekin

The Puttin' on Pekin breakfast was held on April 9th at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 715 N. 11th in Pekin. The every-other-month breakfast features positive events in Pekin, and is coordinated by the Pekin Area Chamber of Commerce's Pekin 1st Committee. Our emcee, Renna Hadsall, presented Rick Tyler with the early prize and Nicholas Evans with the late prize. The Spotlight on Business was presented by committee member Nichole Bozarth to Kirk Cranwill from Cranwill's Drive-in.

The Blue Ribbon Award was presented by committee member Jason Kreiling to Ralph Mickley for the new construction/remodeling done by Good Shepherd Lutheran School. Nichole Bozarth presented the Sunshine Award to Jay Fitzanko and the United Way of Pekin.

Pekin's own Josh Bradshaw spoke about his many mission trips to Haiti as part of the Friends of the Children of Haiti (FOTCOH). He also shared pictures of his most recent trip, which happened shortly after the tragic earthquake.
