Registration Open for 2018 Fourth Fridays on the Tazewell Art Loop

Registration for the 2018 Fourth Fridays on the Tazewell Art Loop are now available for any business, organization, storefront or artist that would like to participate.

On the Fourth Fridays in  April through  August, storefronts in Tazewell County will open their doors between 5:00 – 8:00 pm for a special evening of fun.  There will be shopping, art perusing, mingling with business owners and artists, and entertainment experiences for residents and visitors.  The 2018 Fourth Fridays on the Tazewell Art Loop are sponsored by Unland Companies and will feature the shops and activities that make Morton, Pekin and Delavan great.

When a business registers to participate, their location will be listed as a destination on Fourth Fridays on the  Tazewell Art Loop promotions. Their location will also be shared with participating artists who have registered to show and sell art, creating pop up art galleries across Tazewell County.

Additional benefits for participating businesses include listings on the Fourth Friday fliers distributed throughout the entire season, social media promotions, radio and print promotions, and more. It’s a great promotional opportunity for all the participating locations.

Artist will also benefit by participating.  They'll have the opportunity to display and sell art throughout the entire region and gain exposure to new and existing clientele in Morton, Pekin, and Delavan.

“We look forward to kicking off our second season of Fourth Fridays on the Tazewell Art Loop," said Bill Fleming, Executive Director of the Pekin Area Chamber of Commerce. 

"This program had a great launch in 2017 with hundreds coming out to enjoy music, art, shopping and dining," Fleming continued.  "It's a great opportunity for exposure, activity, and enjoyment this summer.” 

Mary Haynes from the Kountry Nook in Pekin participated in 2017 and has signed on for 2018.  “We are very excited to participate again this year. We love our shop and we want everyone to enjoy their visit with us! We have a collection of some of the Best Artists & Crafters all under one roof. We are very proud to be homegrown here in Pekin & Tazewell County.”
