GOODWILL WELCOMES NEW BOARD MEMBERS
Goodwill of Central Illinois has announced the appointment of Leslie Vallar and Patti Abel to their board of directors.
Leslie Vallar. Leslie is a trust officer for MCB Trust and Wealth, a division of Morton Community Bank. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois and was chosen as a member of “Forty Under 40” in 2017. Leslie understands the importance of educating the public on Goodwill’s mission. Her goal is to be an accessible board member to the community, so she can encourage and promote Goodwill’s mission.
Patti Abel is the market president for Associated Bank. She is a graduate of Bradley University and a member of the CEO Council. Patti not only brings experience in the non-profit sector, but also more than 30 years of leadership experience.
“We have added two more talented and dedicated professionals to our board,” said Don Johnson, Goodwill of Central Illinois President and CEO. “Each board member adds a different perspective to our culture and business model. We are grateful to have such talented and dedicated people supporting our organization.”
Goodwill’s free programs are possible through the sale of your donated items. Goodwill Industries of Central Illinois serves 21 counties within Central Illinois.
