Walk a Mile in My Shoes to Raise Awareness Of Domestic Violence and Abuse

The Center for Prevention of Abuse is holding Walk a Mile in My Shoes to raise awareness of domestic violence and abuse, Saturday, Oct. 30, at 8:30 a.m. at the Fulton Street entrance to the Peoria Civic Center. 

            Walkers receive a long sleeved t-shirt and free entrance to the Women’s Lifestyle Show, beginning at 9 a.m. at The Peoria Civic Center.  The cost is $15 for the one mile walk.  To take part, call The Center for Prevention of Abuse at (309) 691-0551 or download an entry form at www.centerforpreventionofabuse.org
Registration at the event begins at 8:00 a.m.
