Betsy Yarcho Promoted to Vice President - Benefits at The Unland Companies

Betsy Yarcho was recently promoted to Vice President-Benefits at The Unland Companies after starting with the company in 2015 as the Manager of Client Services. As Vice President her primary focus will be on the management of the Benefits Department as well as serving on the management team at the agency level. She will continue to focus on the new business process, as well as coordinating all the services provided to the company’s benefit clients.
Betsy has been in the insurance business for 35 years as a producer, manager and customer service representative. She graduated cum laude from Eastern Illinois University in 1982 and has designations as a Registered Health Underwriter (RHU), a Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) and a Chartered Benefit Consultant (CBC). In addition Betsy completed Affordable Care Act certification through the National Association of Health Underwriters as well as Consumer Directed Health Care Certification.
Betsy has an extensive background in public service and is active in the community. She has served as the former Treasurer for the Illinois State Association of Health Underwriters and the former President of the Central IL Association of Health Underwriters. She is a member of Morton United Methodist Church, was previously a Trustee for the Village of Morton, and is currently serving on the Morton Rotary Club board where she is a Paul Harris Fellow.
Betsy has been married to her husband Matt for 39 years and has two grown daughters. Kristi and her husband Nathan Blankenship live in Yates City and Karen and her husband John Puder live in Chicago with her 8-month-old granddaughter Elodie. Betsy has lived in Morton for 33 years.
