IL PTAC to present “Identifying Opportunities in Federal Government Agencies”
IL PTAC at Heartland Partnership invites area business owners who are interested to do business with US Federal Government Agencies to attend this event. Discussion topics include identifying opportunities, evaluating leads and understanding contracts for US Federal Government Agencies.
Scheduled speakers include Linda Krendick, Director of IL PTAC at Heartland Partnership, and Bill Axelrod. Mr. Axelrod is currently a SCORE Counselor, after retiring and relocating to the Peoria area. Following 31 years naval service, Mr. Axelrod was a Vice President at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) and President and then CEO of Wave Technologies, Inc., a small business specializing in Department of Defense and Intelligence community contracting.
This event will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., at Illinois Central College, North Campus, Hickory Hall, Room 103, 5407 N. University Street, Peoria, IL.
