On a seasonally adjusted basis, the Consumer Price Index for all Urban Consumers (CPI-U) rose 0.3 percent in October. The index has decreased 0.2 percent over the last 12 months on a not seasonally adjusted basis. The United States City Average for all consumers—all items—January 2009, 211.1; February, 212.2; March, 212.8; April, 213.2; May, 213.9; June, 215.7; and July, 215.4.
