Tazewell County Jaycees Trivia Night!

The Tazewell County Jaycees will be hosting their monthly trivia night on Thursday, April 14 at 6:30 p.m. at EP’s TimeOut located at 1011 East Washington St. in East Peoria.

Teams consisting of two to ten players will compete against wits in order to receive a coveted prize as well as the honor of decorating the Tazewell Trivia Traveling Trophy. The night also features door prizes as well as the opportunity to enter in a 50-50 drawing. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from EP’s TimeOut.

Proceeds from this month’s Trivia Night will benefit House of Hope, Tazewell County's shelter for victims of domestic violence and abuse.
The cost is $10 per person, $5 per Jaycee member. Seating is limited, Please email tazcojaycees@yahoo.com today to reserve your team’s spot!

Goodwill of Central Illinois will hold the 5th Annual Recycle Your Style Contest. High school students within Goodwill’s territory are encouraged to donate their used clothing. The high school that donates the most pounds of clothing will win a SMART Board donated by Bradfield’s Computer Supply. Methodist Offers Free Informational Heart Program

January 29, 2010 Methodist Medical Center is hosting a free “Coffee with the Doctor” on Saturday February 27, 2010 in observance of National Heart Month. Tahir Ilahi, M.D. of the Methodist Medical Group Cardiology will be making a presentation on “Cholesterol and Your Heart”. Registered Dietician Hannah Lee will also be on hand to demonstrate heart healthy meal preparation. “Coffee with the Doctor” will be held from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Methodist Medical Group Cardiology Conference Room at 112 NE.
