New Directors Elected

Congratulations to the following leaders who were recently elected by the membership to serve on the Board of Directors of the Pekin Area Chamber of Commerce:

 

Daryl Dagit grew up in Pekin and is a 5th generation Dagit to have lived in Pekin. Daryl is a Financial Advisor with the Smith Barney division of Citigroup. He serves as Chairman of the Board of Education at St. Johns Lutheran Church, Chairman of Good Shepherd School Building Committee and is an Ambassador for the Pekin Area Chamber of Commerce. Daryl and his wife Laura have 3 children: Tabitha, Gabrielle and Abigail.

Debbie Davison is the owner of Home Health Care Plus, Inc., Home Health Plus Services Inc., and president of Life Wellness Center, Inc.  Debbie is the founder of Dreams for Seniors Charity, Inc. and volunteers for Dream Factory of Central Illinois, First Baptist Church Food Bank, AMBUCS and many other not for profit organizations. Debbie and her husband Dennis love to travel and have two daughters, Michelle (29) and Jill (25). They also have two grandsons Blake and Anthony.

Paula Davis has a BS Ed in Physical Education, MS Ed in Counselor Education and Specialist in Educational Administration. Paula has been Superintendent of Pekin Community High School District 303 since 2005. She is a member of Kiwanis, serves on the board of the Dirksen Congressional Center and the Pekin Community Bank Advisory Board, and is a member of Illinois Association of School Administrators. Paula and her husband Terry live in Groveland and have 3 children: Kate (30), Annie (27) and Ryan (26).

Neal Johnson of Ameren Illinois Utilities serves on the board of many central Illinois organizations, including the Pekin Police Foundation, Peoria Tri-County Urban League, St. Jude Mid-West Affiliate, H.O.I. Fair, and Energy Educational Council. Neal and his wife Lynn reside in Pekin and have 4 children Dawn (29), Sarah (27), John (22) and Chris (18).

Ty Lemaster received his education at Medical Lake, WA. Ty is Vice President / General Manager at CenturyLink. In his spare time he enjoys backpacking and mountain climbing. Ty and his wife Carolyn are new to the Pekin area. They have 2 children Sarah (28) and Dustin (25).
