Advanced Media Partners Announces Responsibility Changes

As summer begins to fade, and everyone moves into fall and gets into the back to school mode, Advanced Media Partners has announced several changes in responsibilities for some of the folks at our radio group. They will begin with the afternoon show on 96.5 ESPN Radio

The Jim Mattson Show with Nick Siefken debuted on Central Illinois’ only all sports station a couple of weeks ago. The show is heard weekdays from 3pm to 5pm and will feature 96.5 ESPN program director, Nick Siefken in a prominent role. The show will focus on the local sports scene as well as the host’s take on national events. Jim has hosted the popular Saturday Morning Kickoff on the station for the past 5 years. He continues his duties as Sports Director at WHOI-TV.

Advanced Media also announced the promotion of Stacey Kaye to Promotion Director of our four radio stations in the Peoria market. Additionally, Aaron Tyler has been named Director of Creative Services and Music Director for 98.5 KISS FM, and Julie Jacobs joins the AMP team as its new Traffic Director. Nick Siefken continues in his role as Program Director for 96.5 ESPN Radio and adds duties as assistant to the Operations Manager, Scott Hecathorn.

Stacey joined Advanced Media Partners this past April, having worked in the business for 11 years, most recently at WXSS and WMYX Milwaukee. Stacey also has significant experience as a promotion director having served in that capacity for the 5 station Citadel cluster in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and the 4 Midwest Communications stations in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Aaron, a Central Illinois native, is a 12 year veteran of the radio business with stops in St. Louis, Pittsburgh and Dothan, Alabama on his way back home. Additionally, Aaron is now the mid day jock on 98.5 KISS FM.

Julie Jacobs has been part of the radio industry for ten years, most recently as a morning show host in Dothan, Alabama. Julie will also be doing on air work for 98.5 KISS FM and 99.9 WWCT.
