Illinois Central College Adult Community Programs Offers “English for Everyday Life” Class for Non-Native Speakers Oct. 24 - Dec. 5
Illinois Central College Adult Community Programs will offer a new, noncredit
class, “English for Everyday Life,” Tuesdays and Thursdays October 24 through
December 5, from 10 am to noon at Hickory Hall 105 on the ICC Peoria Campus,
5407 N. University St., Peoria. The class is geared toward non-native English
speakers and is taught by Sally Plattner.
Course objectives include: practicing English vocabulary, understanding Midwestern North American pronunciation, practicing “on the street” speaking skills, learning about American culture, and engaging in lively conversation groups.
