Park Court Pharmacy Introduces Leader® Prescription Club

Park Court Pharmacy, located in the Pekin Hospital Lobby, is pleased to introduce the Leader® Prescription Club, an easy, low-cost way for customers to receive discount pricing on name brand and generic prescriptions.
For a low annual fee of $10 for an individual or family, members of the Leader® Prescription Club can save on more than 5,000 brand name and generic prescriptions; and they can access more than 300 generic medications at a competitive flat price. Members can also save on select pet medications.  Additionally, members can save up to 40% on vision care services through EyeMed and 15% on hearing aids from Beltone.

“We know that for many of our customers, making ends meet and ensuring they’re compliant with prescribed medications can be a challenge, especially when they don’t have prescription coverage,” said Dee Dee Harlow, PharmD, Park Court Pharmacy Manager. “The Leader® Prescription Club is a great way for our uninsured customers to access more affordable medications so they can more easily take their medications as prescribed.”

Park Court Pharmacy is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.  Closed Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.  Free prescription delivery service is available.

Local High School to Win a SMART Board in 5th Annual Recycle Your Style Contest

Goodwill of Central Illinois will hold the 5th Annual Recycle Your Style Contest. High school students within Goodwill’s territory are encouraged to donate their used clothing. The high school that donates the most pounds of clothing will win a SMART Board donated by Bradfield’s Computer Supply. The contest runs from October 1st through October 31st. “This has been a very successful campaign for us,” said Bob Parkhurst, Goodwill Vice President. “We are grateful for Bradfield’s Computer Supply’s donation of a SMART Board each year. That prize really heats up the competition among the high schools.” Donations of items other than clothing are encouraged, but only clothing will count toward the contest. Only high schools are eligible, but others can participate including teachers, family and school supporters.
