Goodwill No Longer Accepts Televisions

As of August 1, 2012 Goodwill Industries of Central Illinois will no longer accept televisions as donations or for recycling. Due to the recent changes in Illinois law, it is not feasible for Goodwill to sell or recycle televisions.
“As a non-profit organization, Goodwill must be vigilant about the revenue used to fund our mission,” said Patty Fuchs, Goodwill President & CEO. “By making these kinds of decisions, we are ensuring that our mission to support individuals and families who are working to better their lives will continue.”
