How To Start A Business

Thirty-three people attended a two-and-a-half hour program at the Pekin Public Library on January 19th called "How To Start A Business In Illinois." The program was presented by Ross Miller, the Executive Director of the Small Business Development Center at Bradley University's Turner Center for Entrepreneurship. The event was co-sponsored by the Pekin Public Library, the City of Pekin, Pekin Main Street and the Pekin Area Chamber of Commerce. A second program will be offered on Tuesday, February 9 at 6:00 titled “Writing a Business Plan.” For more information, or to register, please call the Reference Desk at 347-7111 ext. 2.
