Puttin' On Pekin Recap

The February Puttin' On Pekin breakfast featured the Pekin Park District.  Cameron Bettin, Executive Director of the Pekin Park District accepted the Spotlight on Business Award and updated the audience on several projects and programs at the park.  He also recognized the employees at the park district, and in particular, mentioned Terri Gambetti, Tom Elliott, and Dan Englebright who have all retired or will soon retire.  The Sunshine Award was presented to the staff and volunteers at the Miller Senior Center and the Blue Ribbon Award was presented to Tom Elliott who has maintained the parks for the past 43 years.  The early prize went to John Abel, while the late prize was given to Dave Horton.  Manda Brown from Perfectly Planned Events was the emcee for the breakfast, with 92 people in attendance.  You can see more pictures from this event at:  https://goo.gl/photos/rrXjTSwECisTr8nYA
