Illinois Central College will recognize International Education Week (IEW), a joint initiative between the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education, with a variety of activities during the week of November 18 through 22.  ICC employees and local business leaders, as well as international and domestic students who have studied abroad, will participate in the week’s events to offer their perspectives on the benefits of international education and exchange experiences.  All events are free and open to the public.                  Some of the week’s scheduled events include: ·          Monday, November 18, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., Student Center on the ICC East Peoria Campus:  Kick-Off and Panel: Global Activism – Join us for a panel of Peoria activists on how they fight for human rights, climate change, diversity and inclusion. ·          Tuesday, November 19, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Arbor Auditorium on the ICC Peoria Campus:  Badass Beauty Queen Film Sc

Congratulations to Edward Jones Drew Eilts Financial Advisor on his recent office move. FEATURE EVENT: Christmas on Court Friday, December 6 Enjoy Peoria presents Christmas on Court in downtown Pekin on Friday, December 6 from 5-8 p.m.! There will be the annual Christmas tree lighting, carriage rides, a visit from Santa, a scavenger hunt, holiday music, an open house at the local businesses on Court Street and more!

Illinois Central College will host a Health Careers Open House for potential students to discover educational opportunities in the healthcare field.  The event will take place on Monday, November 18 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Arbor Hall on the ICC Peoria Campus, 5407 N. University St.  It is free and open to the public.                 “This is a great opportunity for potential students and members of the community to tour ICC’s state-of-the-art healthcare simulation labs and multidisciplinary learning environment,” said ICC Dean of Health Careers Wendee Guth.  The open house provides potential students and their families the opportunity to speak with faculty and students, experience hands-on simulation demonstrations, tour labs and classrooms, and learn about the ICC enrollment process.  Information about the health programs offering flexible schedules with evening and weekend college, and programs able to be completed within one semester, will be available.  Participatin
