Pekin’s Community Prayer Breakfast Returns March 10th  

THE PEKIN AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE WILL HOLD A COMMUNITY PRAYER BREAKFAST FRIDAY, MARCH 10TH AT GRACE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH OF PEKIN 

 

Pekin, IL- Returning for its 2nd year, the annual Community Prayer Breakfast will be held Friday, March 10th at Grace United Methodist Church of Pekin.  


The Pekin Area Chamber of Commerce invites the community to gather for a morning of collective community passion with keynote speaker Heather Robertson.
 
Heather Robertson currently serves as the Executive Director of the United Way of Pekin and as pastor of St. Paul United Church of Christ. Her message will focus on each community member using their voice to promote a transformative vision of Pekin.  

The Community Prayer Breakfast will be hosted at Grace United Methodist Church of Pekin, located at 601 N 4th Street. Breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. with program following from 7:45 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.  


Amy McCoy, Executive Director of the Pekin Area Chamber of Commerce, said last year’s prayer breakfast was a great success with over 100 guests from the area churches and businesses in attendance, and this year even more are expected to attend.  


“Heather’s passion for our community is inspiring,” says McCoy. “Her messages are engaging and powerful. This is not an event that you will want to miss!”
