IN CENTRAL ILLINOIS” RETURNS TO ICC’S EAST PEORIA CAMPUS
Family-friendly event showcases the outstanding talent of central Illinois

The Peoria Ballet, ICC Vocal Jazz, ICC Hard Bop Jazz Band, Peoria Players, the family of former Peoria Mayor Jim Maloof, and others will join forces and talents to raise money in a one-of-a-kind showcase of entertainment for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital on Tuesday, April 14, 2020. The performance starts at 6:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center on the ICC East Peoria Campus. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.

This one-night-only event, “ICC Presents: Jim Maloof’s Legacy of Love for the Arts in Central
Illinois,” is a family-friendly entertainment extravaganza designed to promote the performing arts in
central Illinois and highlight former Mayor Maloof’s local and national legacy with St. Jude Children’s
Research Hospital. The entire event is planned and executed by ICC students each year.

Tickets for the event are $8 each for adults and $5 for children under 12 years of age. Tickets are required and limited to the first 500 people. They can be purchased online at www.icc.edu/arts/event/malooflegacyoflove or through the ICC box office at (309) 694-5136. All proceeds from ticket sales this year will directly benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Special guests include Illinois Central College President Dr. Sheila Quirk-Bailey and members
of the Maloof family.  Attendees are invited to a cookie and punch reception at the close of the program, where participating organizations will showcase upcoming and past performances through interactive displays.
