April Puttin' On Pekin Breakfast

The April Puttin' On Pekin breakfast featured several awards, presentations and door prizes to the 70+ chamber members and their guest in attendance at the Avanti's Dome on April 12.  Eva Silva from Boost Mobile won the early prize, while Pat Taphorn from Unland Companies earned the late prize.

Nancy Morris accepted the Blue Ribbon Award on behalf of CEFCU who recently completed a major remodeling project at their Pekin office.  Mike and Dale Vonderheide were presented with the Spotlight on Business for Vonderheide Floor Coverings - a local, family-owned business since 1947.  The YWCA Adult Literacy volunteers received the Sunshine Award for their tutoring and mentoring efforts in our community. Holly Crotty from TAPS presented information on the no kill pet shelter located in Pekin.
