Going Green Computers Grand Opening

Members of the Pekin Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony at Going Green Computers on February 8th. The event marked the grand opening of their new facility at 716 Derby Street. Owner Brad Frick hosted an open house for the public and his customers as part of the celebration. Going Green Computers is an "e-waste" recycler and works with a number of large and small businesses and units of government, as well as local residents. Going Green Computers is the only privately run electronics recyclers in Tazewell County. They are also the only state-registered and authorized recycler between Pontiac and Springfield.
