On Saturday, June 5 at 9 a.m. at the Pekin YWCA, Pekin Hospital and the YWCA will host a seminar called Reinvention Factor for Central Illinois women. This is an exciting opportunity for women and their families to evaluate, or reevaluate, their health and well-being by focusing on breath and breathing.
Pekin Hospital respiratory therapist Patti Baltisberger will educate you on taking action for your respiratory health. ProCare Durable Medical Equipment will also provide education on sleep apnea. Lung health screenings will also be available. Reinvention Factor promises to be a positive experience for all consumers, where people can also enjoy an introductory yoga class provided by the Pekin YWCA.
Reinvention Factor is geared to help women understand how health can be reinvented at any age through diet, fitness, allergy control, smoking cessation, better respiratory health, and other lifestyle changes. If you are looking to reinvent yourself and are searching for ways to end daily stress, unhappiness, and constant dissatisfaction, then this is the seminar for you.
There is a saying, “the way you breathe is the way you live,” and it’s true. Taking that deep and full breath is the key to connecting with your physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. You have the option to take that simple deep breath and turn it into a fresh and positive moment to reinvent yourself.
“Women think about reinventing their lives only when things aren’t going well, but there’s no reason to wait for some dramatic event to occur in order to make a positive change. Any time is a good time to refocus and re-evaluate. And remember, reinvention doesn’t happen in a flash. The key to successful reinvention is to take small steps, live day-by-day, and set realistic goals,” said Carrie Warner, Director of Marketing.
