This year's festival will feature over 50 wines and 50 Craft beers for tasting and purchase from around the world.  The Lions Club will be providing food concessions with the proceeds going for their charity. The Hometown Community Banks are the Festival glassware sponsors. There will be Artisan cheese sampling and sales will be by Ropp Jersey Cheese in the pavilion. 

Saturday and Sunday there will be music performed throughout the day by amazing local artists and bands.
Saturday music schedule: 
  • 11-3 Stevil Dan Band
  •  3-6:30pm Greg Williams
  •  7-11pm 7 WEST.
Sunday music schedule: 
  • 12-3 Sally Weisenberg Duo,
  • 3-6pm ALEX and the XO's
$10pp admission includes souvenir tasting glass and 5 tasting tickets for ages 21 and over,

The VIP Riedel Crystal Wine Tasting Seminar event package includes
  • A tasting seminar with Doug Reed from Riedel Glass company
  •  Wine samples, chocolate and cheese wine pairing food samples
  •  A set of four Riedel Crystal Veritas wine glasses (a $138 value)
  • The set of four glasses includes one of each of the following style glasses; Cabernet-Merlot, Old World Pinot Noir,  Riesling-Zinfandel and Oaked Chardonnay glass

Goodwill of Central Illinois will hold the 5th Annual Recycle Your Style Contest. High school students within Goodwill’s territory are encouraged to donate their used clothing. The high school that donates the most pounds of clothing will win a SMART Board donated by Bradfield’s Computer Supply. The contest runs from October 1st through October 31st. “This has been a very successful campaign for us,” said Bob Parkhurst, Goodwill Vice President. “We are grateful for Bradfield’s Computer Supply’s donation of a SMART Board each year. That prize really heats up the competition among the high schools.” Donations of items other than clothing are encouraged, but only clothing will count toward the contest. Only high schools are eligible, but others can participate including teachers, family and school supporters. Methodist Offers Free Informational Heart Program

January 29, 2010 Methodist Medical Center is hosting a free “Coffee with the Doctor” on Saturday February 27, 2010 in observance of National Heart Month. Tahir Ilahi, M.D. of the Methodist Medical Group Cardiology will be making a presentation on “Cholesterol and Your Heart”. Registered Dietician Hannah Lee will also be on hand to demonstrate heart healthy meal preparation. “Coffee with the Doctor” will be held from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Methodist Medical Group Cardiology Conference Room at 112 NE.
