Trivia Night!
Thursday, June 9
6:30 – 8:30 p.m. (Check In starts at 6 p.m.)

The Tazewell County Jaycees will be hosting their monthly trivia night on Thursday, June 9 at 6:30 p.m. The event takes place at EP’s TimeOut located at 1011 East Washington St. in East Peoria with check in beginning at 6 p.m.

Teams consisting of two to ten players will compete against wits with the winning team receiving an EP’s Timeout gift card and free play at the next trivia night as well as the honor of decorating the Tazewell Trivia Traveling Trophy. The night also features door prizes as well as the opportunity to enter in a 50-50 drawing. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from EP’s TimeOut.

A portion of the proceeds from this month’s Trivia Night will benefit The Dreams for Seniors.

Goodwill of Central Illinois will hold the 5th Annual Recycle Your Style Contest. High school students within Goodwill’s territory are encouraged to donate their used clothing. The high school that donates the most pounds of clothing will win a SMART Board donated by Bradfield’s Computer Supply. Methodist Offers Free Informational Heart Program

January 29, 2010 Methodist Medical Center is hosting a free “Coffee with the Doctor” on Saturday February 27, 2010 in observance of National Heart Month. Tahir Ilahi, M.D. of the Methodist Medical Group Cardiology will be making a presentation on “Cholesterol and Your Heart”. Registered Dietician Hannah Lee will also be on hand to demonstrate heart healthy meal preparation. “Coffee with the Doctor” will be held from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Methodist Medical Group Cardiology Conference Room at 112 NE.
