Pekin Hospital Recognizes Volunteers

Pekin Hospital recognized its volunteers at the Annual Volunteer Recognition Luncheon held April 19, 2011 at the Pekin Moose Lodge. 
During 2010, hospital volunteers recorded a total of 41,727.5 hours of volunteer service.  Volunteers donated 11,281.  Volunteens donated 531 hours, and escorts donated 7,979.5 hours.  In addition, the Pekin Hospital League members donated 21,936 hours.

37 volunteers were given special recognition for their hours of service:

100 Hours –Gloria Benda, Patty Berry, E.J. Eberle, Janet Lawson, Mike Mathews, Delbert Thomas, Dennis Tresenriter, and Bob Witzig

500 Hours –Mary Cohee, Bob Ganson, Pam Ganson, and Clyde Laier

1,000 Hours – Diane Arrenholz, Wanda Lutke, Lou Ann Mathews, and Marge Wilson

1,500 Hours – Charles Benda, Jerry Hill, Marcella Harms, Suzanne Hochstettler, Joanne Oltman, Rosemary Palmer, and Beulah Snyder

2,000 Hours –Ron Boehm, Bob Green, and Chuck Shields

2,500 Hours –Bill Beadles, Len Carlson, and Nancy Lunini

3,000 Hours –Kay Jones, Mary Kerby, and Roberta Montgomery

3,500 Hours – Kenny Crawford and Kevin Johnson

4,000 Hours – Ivagene Wheeler

5,500 Hours – Sharon McMillan

10,000 Hours – Nancy German

Special recognition was also given to those volunteers who donated the most hours in their division.  Mike Curley volunteered 103 hours for the Pekin Hospital Volunteen Service, Bob Green volunteered 608 hours for the Pekin Hospital Escort Service, Beulah Snyder volunteered 562 hours for the Pekin Hospital Volunteers, and Martha Weibring volunteered 598 hours for the Pekin Hospital League.
