CenturyLink Helps Small Business Customers Stay Productive with Addition of Verizon Wireless Services

CenturyLink, Inc. (NYSE: CTL) is now providing its small business customers the convenience of one-stop shopping by offering the full lineup of Verizon Wireless products and services.
CenturyLink, a Verizon Wireless authorized agent, now offers its customers a variety of Verizon devices, including Android, Apple, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile and Palm smartphones; feature phones; USB modems and Internet devices such as tablets, netbooks and mobile hotspots. Customers can receive a monthly discount when they bundle their Verizon Wireless services with CenturyLink’s Business-Class High-Speed Internet service. In the future, customers will be able to combine their Verizon and CenturyLink services on one bill.  

“Adding Verizon Wireless services to our communications portfolio is another example of CenturyLink’s commitment to deliver simplified solutions to our customers,” said Mike Brill, CenturyLink Vice President and General Manager for Illinois. “We believe our business customers will appreciate the convenience of contacting one company to shop for all of their telecommunications services.”

Methodist Offers Free Informational Heart Program

January 29, 2010 Methodist Medical Center is hosting a free “Coffee with the Doctor” on Saturday February 27, 2010 in observance of National Heart Month. Tahir Ilahi, M.D. of the Methodist Medical Group Cardiology will be making a presentation on “Cholesterol and Your Heart”.
