New Traffic Signals Installed at 8th & Sheridan

The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) announces traffic signal work will begin on Wednesday, June 29th from 8:00am to 3:30pm at the intersection of IL 29 (8th Street) and Sheridan Road in Pekin.  The intersection will be controlled by flashing red light signals and stop signs while the work is being completed. Crews will be installing flashing yellow arrow signals at this location.

IDOT is equipping more than 100 intersections in the Peoria area with flashing yellow arrow signals. To see how these signals work, please click here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3x_Z9Cm-Cg.
