REDITUS, PAL HEALTH, CONTINUE TO GROW, EXPAND STAFF

PEKIN – As Reditus Laboratories and PAL Health Technologies continue to grow, they are adding to their teams.

Jason Sullivan has joined Reditus and PAL Health as chief business officer. Dr. Jerome Anderson has joined Reditus as staff pathologist. And Shannon Kiser has joined PAL Health as orthotist/prosthetist.

Reditus and PAL are separate companies with the same CEO, Dr. Aaron Rossi.

Sullivan will ensure that both companies continue to move in the right direction, focusing on new product line development, sales leadership, operational efficiencies, and fiscal responsibility.

“We want to continually bring new, innovative solutions to our clients and always strive to ‘make it easy’ for our clients to do business with us,” Sullivan said. “This mindset will ensure our amazing growth continues for years to come.”

“The history and success of these companies are what brought me here,” Sullivan said. “These are dynamic companies with great leaders and great employees. My job is to take Dr. Rossi’s vision and help to deliver it.”

For the past 18 years, Sullivan worked in the technology and business solutions industry, which included IT (information technology) infrastructure, IT management and business optimization. For the past 15 years in the industry, he was a sales leader.

Most recently, Sullivan served as Area Vice President for Konica Minolta Business Solutions. He was with Konica Minolta Business Solutions for ten years.

Sullivan is a United States Marine Corps veteran, serving as a combat photographer from 1995 to 2000.

Dr. Anderson performs surgical pathology duties, including microscopic examinations of specimens received by Reditus. Those include nail biopsies, prostate biopsies, and urine to detect various diseases, including cancer.

Dr. Anderson is looking forward to the breath of specimens growing in volume and variety during the next couple of years. Dr. Anderson received a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He spent 10 years in active duty in the United States Air Force and, during that time, completed his pathology residency. Dr. Anderson was the staff pathologist and medical director of the laboratory at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb from 1997 to November 2020. He had the same roles at Galesburg Cottage Hospital from November 2020 until August, when he joined Reditus. He is board certified by the American Board of Pathology.

“I am excited to be a part of Reditus, as it expands its testing repertoire and specimen volume,” Dr. Anderson said. Kiser is a board-certified prosthetist and is a licensed orthotist and prosthetist in Kentucky. An orthotist fabricates orthoses for people who need support for parts of the body weakened by injury or disease. A prosthetist fabricates artificial limbs (prostheses) for people with disabilities.

Kiser will be consulting with the PAL team and PAL customers on product development and improvements in orthoses designs, with the goal of providing custom products that provide the best treatment outcomes for patients. He also will work on trying to make the PAL fabrication process more efficient, including through the use of digital fabrication.

A practicing orthotist/prosthetist for more than 20 years in eastern Kentucky, Kiser practiced in an orthotics/prosthetics clinic for the first 17 years, then with a podiatry group, Cumberland Foot & Ankle Centers, for 3 ½ years. He has an associate’s degree in orthotic/prosthetic fabrication from Median School of Allied Health in Pittsburgh, Pa.

“I’m really excited about getting in the position of being able to fabricate again, especially as it relates to digital fabrication,” he said.
