Senior Consulting Project applications are being accepted for the Fall 2019 Semester

Needing a Business Solution?

Do you need a team of creative thinkers who are up to date on the latest trends? The Foster College of Business students have helped solve thousands of real-world business problems over the past 50 years through the Senior Consulting Projects Program, all at no cost to the client.

·     Are you in need of a new marketing strategy?
·     Do you need a feasibility study conducted?
·     Have you considered a strategic growth plan?
·     Do you need assistance in launching a new product?

The Illinois Small Business Development Center (ISBDC) at
Bradley University, may just have the answer for you.
Senior business majors in the Foster College of Business are required to complete a Capstone Class. This semester-long project (16 weeks), gives the students a real-world experience by allowing the students to apply their skills along with providing their client strategic improvements and enhancing operational effectiveness at no cost. The Fall semester runs August 28 - December 10, 2019.

Since 1972, over 11,215 students have provided more than 2,234 companies with custom business solutions through the Foster College of Business Senior Consulting Projects program.

Projects can include:

·     In-depth industry & environmental analysis
·     Long and short term business plan
·     Feasibility study
·     Marketing plan

Goodwill of Central Illinois will hold the 5th Annual Recycle Your Style Contest. High school students within Goodwill’s territory are encouraged to donate their used clothing. The high school that donates the most pounds of clothing will win a SMART Board donated by Bradfield’s Computer Supply. The contest runs from October 1st through October 31st. “This has been a very successful campaign for us,” said Bob Parkhurst, Goodwill Vice President. “We are grateful for Bradfield’s Computer Supply’s donation of a SMART Board each year. That prize really heats up the competition among the high schools.” Donations of items other than clothing are encouraged, but only clothing will count toward the contest. Methodist Offers Free Informational Heart Program

January 29, 2010 Methodist Medical Center is hosting a free “Coffee with the Doctor” on Saturday February 27, 2010 in observance of National Heart Month. Tahir Ilahi, M.D. of the Methodist Medical Group Cardiology will be making a presentation on “Cholesterol and Your Heart”. Registered Dietician Hannah Lee will also be on hand to demonstrate heart healthy meal preparation. “Coffee with the Doctor” will be held from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Methodist Medical Group Cardiology Conference Room at 112 NE.
