Patrons using CityLink’s “Park and Ride” service to attend events in the Illinois Central College Guest Artists Series should be aware the schedule has changed from past years.

Starting this season, Park and Ride service buses will depart at 6:45 pm, which is 45 minutes prior to the start time of events. In previous years, the bus left half an hour before the start time of shows.

Buses will continue to depart from the pickup spot in Evergreen Square near Lenscrafters. The fares are $1 one-way. Senior citizens 65 years of age and older with verification can ride for 50 cents one way.

CityLink will run its Park and Ride service for the following shows at Illinois Central College this season:
·        Frank and Dean Together Again, August 12
·        Scarborough Fair: A Simon and Garfunkel Experience performed by the Guthrie Brothers, October 21
·        The Second City’s Dysfunctional Holiday Revue, November 26
·        A John Denver Christmas featuring tribute artist Ted Vigil, December 16
·        The Mind Boggling Variety Show by Andy “The Split Man” Gross, March 10
·        Buddy and Beyond: The History of Rock and Roll featuring Johnny Rogers, May 19
