Savant Capital Management, a nationally recognized fee-only wealth management firm headquartered in Rockford, IL with an office in Peoria, announced today it has been named by Barron’s magazine as one of the 100 best independent financial advisors in the country. Savant ranked 56, moving up eight spots from last year. Additionally, Savant ranked 4th in Illinois.
Savant Capital Management has ranked on this list since its inception in 2007 – one of only two Illinois firms to earn this recognition consistently. Throughout the last seven years Savant has increased its assets over 2 billion. In 2012 it combined with The Monitor Group, a nationally recognized financial planning firm in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, and now the company manages more than $3.2 billion in assets.
“It is a complete honor for Savant to be named a top financial advisor for the seventh consecutive year,” said Brent Brodeski, CEO of Savant. “This recognition speaks volumes about our talented team of professionals and our loyal clients who make this recognition possible. We are proud to be named a leading financial wealth management firm.”
Annually, the Barron’s ranking, which includes both registered investment advisors and boutique brokerages, is based on assets, quality of practices, revenue that advisors generate for their firms, and other factors. To view the entire list, click here.
Savant has consistently received other industry recognitions such as being named a top RIA firm by Financial Planning magazine, Financial Advisor magazine, Forbes, Chicago magazine, Investment News and REP magazine and being recognized as a top wealth magnet in Accounting Today.
