Alzheimer’s Association to Present Program on “The Basics” of Memory Loss

The Alzheimer's Association-Central Illinois Chapter will present a program entitled “The Basics: Memory Loss, Dementia and Alzheimer’s” from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18th, at the Tremont Public Library, 215 S. Sampson, Tremont.

Chapter Education Specialist Tim Klobe will present the program. Participants will learn about symptoms, causes and risk factors for Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia, how Alzheimer’s affects the brain, the benefits of early detection, stages of the disease, treatment options, and ways the Association can help.
