April Puttin' On Pekin Recap

Nearly 100 chamber members attended the April 12th Puttin' On Pekin breakfast held at the Knights of Columbus Hall.  The every-other-month breakfast is coordinated by Pekin 1st, a committee of the Pekin Area Chamber of Commerce.

Committee member Rose Hasler presented the Spotlight on Business Award to Bridget Rumler of John M. Evans Supportive Living Community. Emcee Rob Hancock presented the early prize to John Abel, and the late prize to Mitch O'Shaughnessy.  Committee member Debbie Fornoff presented the Sunshine Award to Georgia Gschwend, Marilyn Bottin, and Carol Guenther of from the Pekin Hospital League.

Gary Jepson, CEO of Pekin Hospital, gave a presentation on the 100th anniversary of the hospital and the status and changes in healthcare in Pekin and United States today.
