“2012 Employment Law Series”

  1. March 14 – Labor Laws: The Employer’s & Employee’s Rights & Obligations Under the National Labor Relations Act
    The National Labor Relations Act is legislation that governs many aspects of the relationship between an employer, an employee and unions seeking to organize your employees.  Understanding what your organization can or cannot do regarding free speech and organizing is crucial for minimizing your organizational risk.

This popular multi-session series is conducted by labor and employment Law attorneys from Davis & Campbell LLC.    The sessions focus on the steps employees can take to cope with the requirements of various laws and regulations. Each session qualifies for 2.25 General HRCI recertification credits.

This interactive seminar will provide you with tips and strategies to work effectively with each of the generations. For anyone struggling to manage or work with people who just don’t see work (or life) the same way, this program will help you understand the gap that separates the generations—and offers practical guidelines for building a harmonious workforce where people rally together for the organization, not against each other.

A good letter, memo or email message can inform, persuade and impress your reader. It can also save you a lot of time and effort! A business writer’s main enemies are passive sentences, wordiness, overuse of big words and clichĂ©s. A writer’s biggest time waster is not having a simple writing structure that works. After this class, you will write easily and quickly.
