Duck Tagging Night

Who:     Volunteers and staff from The Center for Prevention of Abuse will tag    thousands of yellow rubber ducks with numbers so that the winning ducks can be identified and winners notified on Race Day
What:    DUCKS!! fresh from races throughout the country  will be re-tagged and dumped in the marina in front of Retro American Tap on August 28th to race for prizes.
When:    Thursday, August 25th ; 5:00 – 7:00 pm
Where:  The Center for Prevention of Abuse

Why:      To raise funds to help fill the gaps of needed services in our communities including:
·         Additional Prevention Educators to meet the great demand for stopping bullying programs in our schools
·         Repairs to our newly acquired House of Hope Shelter as well as programming upgrades for families fleeing violence
·         Additional Legal Advocates to help manage the highest number of Orders of Protection in The Center’s history
·         Additional Elder Abuse Caseworkers to meet the steady rise in monthly intakes of abuse, neglect and financial exploitation of seniors.
