Pekin Salvation Army To Hold Annual Dinner

                 New Illinois Central College President To Speak October 17 at Annual Dinner 
Sheila Quirk-Bailey, the new President of Illinois Central College will be the featured speaker at The Salvation Army in Pekin’s annual dinner on October 17.
“We are excited to have Dr. Quirk-Bailey join us at the annual dinner in October,” said Major Rick Ray. “We are always searching for ways to bring new ideas to the community and we are glad that she is available,” said Ray.
            For the second consecutive year the event will be held at Pekin Community High School. Additionally,  the meal will be prepared by the Culinary Arts students at PCHS. Tickets are on sale through October 11, are $25 per ticket and can be obtained by calling the Pekin Salvation Army at 346-3010.

Doors will open at 6 pm and dinner will be served at 6:30. Students involved in the upcoming Pekin High School fall play will present entertainment as well. For more details on the community center, or the annual dinner, please contact Majors Rick or Kim Ray at (309) 346-3010.
