Pekin Hospital Foundation to Host Wine and Dine Event

(April 2, 2010) – The Pekin Hospital Foundation will host a wine and dine event on Saturday, April 24 at 6 p.m. at the Pekin Country Club. Net proceeds from the event will benefit the Pekin Hospital Foundation.
Wine and food sampling will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. DJ Diamond Dan will provide music and dancing from 8 – 10 p.m. The attire is business casual. Tickets are $75 per person, a portion of which is tax deductible. To purchase tickets, please call (309) 353-0559 or visit www.pekinhospital.org.

“This event, which is open to the public, is our community’s chance to support Pekin Hospital while having a fun time. Methodist Offers Free Informational Heart Program

January 29, 2010 Methodist Medical Center is hosting a free “Coffee with the Doctor” on Saturday February 27, 2010 in observance of National Heart Month. Tahir Ilahi, M.D. of the Methodist Medical Group Cardiology will be making a presentation on “Cholesterol and Your Heart”. Registered Dietician Hannah Lee will also be on hand to demonstrate heart healthy meal preparation. “Coffee with the Doctor” will be held from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Methodist Medical Group Cardiology Conference Room at 112 NE.
