OSF Faces Rapid Drug Test Shortage from Supply Chain Issues

Rapid drug testing may become temporarily unavailable


OSF Occupational Health and OSF OnCall Urgent Care are currently experiencing supply chain issues with regards to obtaining the kits to provide rapid drug tests. This service delivery issue is expected to be on-going for approximately a month.

At this time, all rapid testing supplies will be used until we are out of stock. Once this happens, all drug tests will be sent out for processing and will then take 48-72 hours to receive test results.

We apologize for the inconvenience and will notify you once normal rapid testing resumes.

Goodwill of Central Illinois will hold the 5th Annual Recycle Your Style Contest. High school students within Goodwill’s territory are encouraged to donate their used clothing. The high school that donates the most pounds of clothing will win a SMART Board donated by Bradfield’s Computer Supply. Methodist Offers Free Informational Heart Program

January 29, 2010 Methodist Medical Center is hosting a free “Coffee with the Doctor” on Saturday February 27, 2010 in observance of National Heart Month. Tahir Ilahi, M.D. of the Methodist Medical Group Cardiology will be making a presentation on “Cholesterol and Your Heart”. Registered Dietician Hannah Lee will also be on hand to demonstrate heart healthy meal preparation. “Coffee with the Doctor” will be held from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Methodist Medical Group Cardiology Conference Room at 112 NE.
