Pekin Hospital Laboratory Recognized by College of American Pathologists

The Accreditation Committee of the College of American Pathologists (CAP) has awarded accreditation to Pekin Hospital Laboratory based on results of a recent onsite inspection as part of CAP’s accreditation programs.
Part of Progressive Health Systems, Pekin Hospital is now one of more than 7,600 CAP-accredited facilities worldwide.
“It’s an honor for Pekin Hospital Laboratory to be recognized for our high standards of care and service,” said Chief Executive Officer Bob Haley. “Our Laboratory team strives for excellence in providing accurate and timely results to physicians and practitioners to help facilitate the diagnosis and treatment of the members of our community.”

Goodwill of Central Illinois will hold the 5th Annual Recycle Your Style Contest. High school students within Goodwill’s territory are encouraged to donate their used clothing.
