GOODWILL, IVCC AND BEST, INC. TO OFFER FREE JOB SKILLS WORKSHOPS
Goodwill Industries of Central Illinois, Illinois Valley Community College (IVCC) and BEST, Inc. have partnered to offer FREE job skills workshops. Workshops are held at the IVCC main campus in Oglesby, Illinois.
“This is another great partnership for us,” said Patty Fuchs, Goodwill President & CEO. “We rely on these great local community colleges and organizations. They help us facilitate our mission and offer the free training that is going to help people find and maintain employment.”
These free workshops cover a multitude of areas designed to assist people in finding employment and building the skills needed in today’s workforce. The curriculum includes; resume building, networking, interview skills, completing applications online, computer basics, email basics, and Microsoft Word.
