Summer Concert at Winery to Benefit Alzheimer’s Association
Central Illinoisans and their friends are invited to enjoy the vineyards, delight in wine tasting and relax to the beat of local musicians at an afternoon Summer Concert at the Winery, with proceeds benefitting families affected by Alzheimer’s disease.
The Summer Concert at the Winery will be held from noon - 5 p.m. Sunday, July 28 at Kickapoo Creek Winery, 6605 N. Smith Road, Edwards.
The $10 admission fee includes an afternoon of wine tasting and entertainment, with proceeds benefitting the Alzheimer’s Association - Central Illinois Chapter, Peoria. Popular local musical acts Boogie Shooze, Jazz Slayer and Greg Williams will perform.
Tickets may be purchased in advance at the Chapter office, 606 W. Glen Ave., and at Kickapoo Creek Winery. They also will be sold at the door the day of the event.
The Alzheimer's Association-Central Illinois Chapter offers programs and support services to help improve the quality of life of area residents dealing with Alzheimer’s disease. Its mission is to eliminate Alzheimer’s through the advancement of research, to provide and enhance care and support for all affected, and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
