Alzheimer’s Association to hold Perspectives on Caregiver Stress program
The Alzheimer’s Association-Central Illinois Chapter will host a program entitled “Perspectives on Caregiver Stress” from 5-6:30 p.m. Monday, July 22 at Encore! UnityPoint North at Allen Road, 2338 W. Van Winkle Way, Peoria.
The program addresses coping with stress related to caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s. The group will examine the symptoms of caregiver stress and learn tips and strategies for assisting with routine personal care activities, as well as simple steps to make the home safe and supportive.
Registration is required by Friday, July 19 by calling the office at 800.272.3900 or 309.681.1100. Low enrollment numbers may result in the program being canceled or rescheduled.
