ICPR Breaks Ground

ICPR Family Practice broke ground this morning on their new office.  The 12,000 square foot office will be located on the corner of Barney and Griffin Street in Pekin behind Big R.  Construction will begin in this month, with completion expected in the spring of 2014.  CORE Construction will be leading the project.

The new building will allow the staff at ICPR to continue to provide patients with excellent care while also allowing for more growth and additional services in the future.  ICPR will post the progress of their new building on their Facebook page at www.facebook.com/icpronline.

ICPR specializes in pain management and treating arthritis and carpal tunnel syndromes as well as providing at-home sleep studies to diagnose sleep apnea, personalized diabetic care, Physical Therapy, and family medical care for all ages. ICPR also provides on site x-rays, diagnostic services, weight loss programs, wellness center and lab services.

Goodwill of Central Illinois will hold the 5th Annual Recycle Your Style Contest. High school students within Goodwill’s territory are encouraged to donate their used clothing. The high school that donates the most pounds of clothing will win a SMART Board donated by Bradfield’s Computer Supply. The contest runs from October 1st through October 31st. “This has been a very successful campaign for us,” said Bob Parkhurst, Goodwill Vice President. “We are grateful for Bradfield’s Computer Supply’s donation of a SMART Board each year. Methodist Offers Free Informational Heart Program

January 29, 2010 Methodist Medical Center is hosting a free “Coffee with the Doctor” on Saturday February 27, 2010 in observance of National Heart Month. Tahir Ilahi, M.D. of the Methodist Medical Group Cardiology will be making a presentation on “Cholesterol and Your Heart”. Registered Dietician Hannah Lee will also be on hand to demonstrate heart healthy meal preparation. “Coffee with the Doctor” will be held from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Methodist Medical Group Cardiology Conference Room at 112 NE.
