Rivermen Introduce 2012 Holiday Pack!!

The Perfect Gift for the Rivermen Fan in your life!

The Peoria Rivermen have announced the Holiday Pack for the 2012-13 season! This year's package includes 10 undated vouchers good for any game in the 2012-13 regular season, and an autographed Rivermen puck!  With premium games on the schedule, the Holiday Pack provides you with the freedom to choose which games you would like to attend, while providing you the best savings on Rivermen tickets.

Premium dates include:
  • November 3rd, Presidential Bobblehead Election
  • November 10th, OSF Hat Night
  • January 19th, CEFCU Zamboni Bank
  • January 26th, Ryan Reaves Bobblefist
  • February 16th, PNC Kids Jersey Night
  • March 23rd, Hy-Vee Kids Hockey Stick

The Holiday Pack can be purchased in either the Upper Bowl for $160 or Lower Bowl package for $210.  Purchase before the end of November and receive two free tickets to our Fan Appreciation Night on Saturday, April 20th game vs. Charlotte Checkers!

Rivermen Holiday Packs will be sold throughout the holiday season and can be purchased by calling the Rivermen at 309-676-1040 or by visiting the Peoria Rivermen office located inside the Peoria Civic Center. 

The Peoria Rivermen are back in action this week as they kick off a two-game homestand with games at Carver Arena on Thursday when they host the Lake Erie Monsters at 7:05pm. Then on Saturday, the Milwaukee Admirals come to town at 7:35pm for the Presidential Bobblehead Election! The first 2,000 fans in attendance will have their choice to receive either a President Barack Obama or Governor Mitt Romney bobblehead.  The first candidate to run out of bobbleheads will be declared the winner!!  Bobbleheads will only be distributed at the Great Hall entrance of the Peoria Civic Center.

Local High School to Win a SMART Board in 5th Annual Recycle Your Style Contest

Goodwill of Central Illinois will hold the 5th Annual Recycle Your Style Contest. High school students within Goodwill’s territory are encouraged to donate their used clothing. The high school that donates the most pounds of clothing will win a SMART Board donated by Bradfield’s Computer Supply. The contest runs from October 1st through October 31st. “This has been a very successful campaign for us,” said Bob Parkhurst, Goodwill Vice President. “We are grateful for Bradfield’s Computer Supply’s donation of a SMART Board each year. That prize really heats up the competition among the high schools.” Donations of items other than clothing are encouraged, but only clothing will count toward the contest. Only high schools are eligible, but others can participate including teachers, family and school supporters.
