Representatives from the Pekin Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Pekin welcomed a new business to the community with a ribbon cutting on November 28th. Comfort Plus Hospice, 2400 N. 8th Street, is a new private hospice agency that provides palliative and holistic care of patients and families who have terminal illnesses. Teri Rhoades is the Administrator and she was joined by other staff members for the ribbon cutting, including Candice Wright, Social Services, and Areceli Lear, Owner.
