The CFCI Appoints Four New Members to its Board of Directors
The Community Foundation of Central Illinois (CFCI) announces the appointment of G. Michael Marvel, Donna Marcacci, Ray Busam, and Dr. Maxine Wortham to its Board of Directors.

G. Michael Marvel is the Sr. Business Resource Manager for Global Accounting & SEC Reporting at Caterpillar Inc. Prior to joining Caterpillar Inc. in 2006, Mr. Marvel worked for Eli Lilly and Company in a variety of financial positions for approximately 10 years and also worked as an auditor with Coopers & Lybrand for over 10 years. At Caterpillar, he has held several different positions in the accounting organization including serving as the SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting Manager, Business Resource Manager in Geneva Switzerland , and Sr. Business Resource Manager for the Eastern Hemisphere Legal Entity Shared Services. Mr. Marvel earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Indiana University in 1984. He is a Certified Public Accountant and member of the AICPA.
Donna Marcacci is Vice President and Senior Wealth Planner at PNC Wealth Management, where she provides advice on complex estate and other wealth planning issues. She has a high level of technical experience in estate, tax and wealth planning issues. Prior to being with PNC Wealth Management, Donna was with National City Bank’s Private Client Group as a Relationship Manager and before that a Private Banker. Donna is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®), having earned that designation in 1998. She is a cum laude graduate of Augustana College and holds a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from Illinois State University . Donna has been actively involved with the Peoria YWCA and the Alzheimer’s Association of Central Illinois for many years, having served as President and Treasurer of the Board of Directors of both organizations.
Dr. Maxine Wortham has served as Assistant Director/Education Coordinator at PCCEO Head Start since 2002. A retired educator, Dr. Wortham served Peoria Public Schools for over thirty years as a classroom teacher and administrator. A graduate ofLane College in Jackson , Tennessee and Illinois State University , Dr. Wortham has an extensive record of community involvement, including Tri County Urban League Board of Directors, City Link Trustee, Early Childhood Forum, and the Rotary Club of Peoria.

Ray Busam has over 40 years of experience in the areas of corporate finance and human resources management. During his career he held the CFO and top administrative position with three firms. He was last with L. R. Nelson Corporation as CFO & Vice President Finance & Administration for 15 years, retiring in 2005. At Nelson his responsibilities included the Financial, Human Resources and Information Technology areas. Prior to joining Nelson he was CFO and Vice President of Finance for True Temper Corp, a Black & Decker company. He served for a number of years as a member and president of the Illinois Central College Educational Foundation, a member of the Board of Directors of Archway Insurance LTD. He is currently on the Board of Directors of Alliance Benefit Group of Illinois, Inc. and a member of the Finance Committee of the Community Foundation of Central Illinois. He has also worked as a consultant for the Employers Association. He is a graduate of De Paul University.
