Matthew Grashoff Joins The Unland Companies
Matthew Grashoff has joined The Unland Companies as an Agent. He is located in the Pekin office and licensed to sell Commercial and Personal Property & Casualty, Life, Health and Employee Benefit Programs, along with offering Human Resource solutions to his customers.
Matt has over 15 years of management experience in the insurance and financial services industry. He has led teams in retirement services & administration, contact centers, operations, vendor management, process improvement and relationship management. He spent the last 5 years as a relationship manager, influencing business strategy and customer-facing technology development.
“After nearly 21 years at State Farm I was ready for a new career opportunity in the sales and customer development segment of the business, having spent the majority of my career in operations and enterprise leadership. Unland has an outstanding reputation and continues to place the customer at the center of all decisions, which is where my passion lies,” said Grashoff. “It’s a blessing to have the opportunity to both live and work in the Pekin area. I look forward to serving the needs of our clients and being even more involved in the community,” he added.
Outside of the office, Matt has a passion for coaching and developing youth. Most notably, Matt coached girls and boys athletics as a volunteer for many years at the Pekin Union Mission. He has served on the Education Committee at First United Methodist Church of Pekin, was a recent member of the Pekin High School Basketball Booster Club Committee and is a member of the LOMA Society of Illinois.
Matt obtained a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Marketing, from Bradley University in 1996, where he was also a collegiate baseball player. His commitment to life-long learning is evident by his industry-related designations including: Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) and Associate Customer Service (ACS). He currently resides in Pekin with Ivy, his wife of 21 years, and their three children Jae, Brady and Emma.
