Illinois Central College Now Enrolling for 12-Week Courses

Illinois Central College currently has open enrollment for its expanded schedule of 12-week courses for the fall 2018 semester. These courses are designed to provide maximum flexibility for those who want or need to begin classes after the traditional start of the semester. The 12-week courses begin on September 10.
                Twelve-week courses are offered at the East Peoria and Peoria Campuses, as well as online, so students can plan their class schedule according to their individual situation and needs. An expanded number of general education courses, including English Composition 110, Math 110, Psychology 110, and Economics 110 are available, to name a few. There also are class sections for developmental math and English, as well as more advanced subject areas.
                For a complete listing of the most current options and course availability, visit mymobile.icc.edu or download the free MyICC app, which is available for iOS and Android devices. Current students also can log into their eServices account. To find the complete listing of 12-week courses, use the “Search for Classes” function, select the “Class Duration” attribute, and then choose the “12-week” option from the menu.

Goodwill of Central Illinois will hold the 5th Annual Recycle Your Style Contest. High school students within Goodwill’s territory are encouraged to donate their used clothing. The high school that donates the most pounds of clothing will win a SMART Board donated by Bradfield’s Computer Supply. Methodist Offers Free Informational Heart Program

January 29, 2010 Methodist Medical Center is hosting a free “Coffee with the Doctor” on Saturday February 27, 2010 in observance of National Heart Month. Tahir Ilahi, M.D. of the Methodist Medical Group Cardiology will be making a presentation on “Cholesterol and Your Heart”. Registered Dietician Hannah Lee will also be on hand to demonstrate heart healthy meal preparation. “Coffee with the Doctor” will be held from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Methodist Medical Group Cardiology Conference Room at 112 NE.
